Is it safe to use ‘Internet Banking?’
Internet banking is a safe and convenient way to manage your money. There is no reason why you cannot use the Internet to bank online. We use industry standard levels of security to protect you. If you follow our security advice, it will be a lot harder for criminals to be successful.

Is there a charge for Internet Banking?
Our Internet Service is currently free of charge. Various services such as Cheque book issue, Manager’s cheque request and Adhoc Statement will be charged as per the Schedule of Charges. Please refer to the Schedule of Charges for more details.

How do I register my account for Internet banking?
To register, download your application form here. Simply, fill it and drop it at any of our Barclays branch or sales and service centres. Alternatively, you may call our phone banking on +971 4 428 6000.

What is my Internet Banking User ID?
Your Internet Banking User ID is a unique 6-10 character id which was issued to you when you registered for Internet Banking.

What if someone else knows my User ID/ Password/Secret Question information?
If you think that someone else knows your Password/Secret question information then you
need to change them immediately. Your password and secret question information are the key to your security as the system matches them to our records to check your identity. Changing your password/Secret question information will mean that no one else can access your account, even if they know your user id. You may want to check your account statement to see if any unauthorized transactions have taken place.

Can I change my Password?
Yes. As an added security feature, you will have the option of changing your password as often as you feel it is appropriate. This is done through the Customer Service menu under the Internet Banking module. In addition to that the password we issue at signup is only valid for first time log in and you will be forced to change it as soon as you successfully login.

I am getting an error message "Invalid user id/Password."?
• This screen implies you have entered any one or all of the following (User id, Password) incorrectly.
Please check once again while entering these details.
• Please ensure that you are entering the correct alphanumeric password that you had created.
• Your password is case sensitive. Ensure the status of the Caps Lock button on the keyword before entering the password.
• In case you have recently changed your password please ensure that you are trying to sign on with the latest one only.

This is likely due to congestion in the internet. We have to request you to try again some time later.

I am getting the same login page after entering all details.
• After you enter all details and still the login page is still there, we request you to look at the top of the page.
• There are few issues with your login. The error messages will be getting displayed above. Please read the error message and take action accordingly.

Why does Internet banking sometimes log me out automatically?
If you don’t touch a key or use your mouse for a few minutes, for security purposes, you’ll be automatically logged off. The last page you were looking at will remain on screen until you click on any link, then you will be taken to the Logon page. You’ll need to log on again to continue using this service.

Why has access to my account timed out?
For security reasons the Internet Banking service is set to log you out automatically after approximately 5 minutes of inactivity on your account pages. A message will warn you that this time is approaching and allow you to close your access yourself, or return to the pages and continue using the service.

Why do I need to Log – off Internet Banking?
You need to select ‘LogOff’ when you’ve finished using Internet banking, so that no one else using the same computer can access your account.

Is there a maximum limit on the amount I can transfer?
• Mass and Premier customers can transfer upto 500,000 on a daily basis per transaction between your own accounts
• For Third Party Transfers, Mass customers can transfer 30,000 with 10,000 as the per transaction limit. Premier customers can transfer 60,000 with 20,000 as the per transaction limit.
