Terms and Conditions

  1. First quarter’s account maintenance fee shall be charged upfront in the month in which the Barclays Premier Life account is opened.

  2. A client will be eligible for the assured gifts as part of Barclays Premier Life account only if the following criteria are met

    • The salary is credited to the Barclays Premier Life account in case the client has agreed to do so and the first quarter’s fee is completely recovered by the Bank within 2 calendar months from the date of Barclays Premier Life account opening.

      OR

    • In case a client does not choose to transfer salary to the Bank, the Barclays Premier Life account should be funded with at least AED 10,000 in the month in which the account is opened and the first quarter’s fee is completely recovered by the Bank within 2 calendar months from the date of account opening.

  3. In the event that the Bank is not able to recover the first quarter’s fee within 2 calendar months due to insufficient funds in the Barclays Premier Life account, the client shall have no claim on the assured gifts.

  4. Barclays Bank PLC UAE reserves the right to add and remove benefits currently being offered as part of the Barclays Premier Life account without any prior intimation.

  5. Some of the value added features available to clients as part of the Barclays Premier Life proposition are a part of the Barclaycard Platinum bundled offering and are subject to eligibility.

  6. In addition to the above, Barclays Premier Terms and Conditions will also apply.
